 Samantha's journey with Ventia is inspiring. From a young age, she was captivated by mechanics—a passion that led her through high school and into college. During her college years, Samantha gained valuable experience with Ventia (formerly Broadspectrum), which paved the way for her to step into an apprenticeship role upon finishing school. Her work on Ventia's Defence Maintenance Contract, specifically with Defence’s newest and most unique heavy commercial vehicles, has been nothing short of exemplary.
 

Samantha’s manager, Wayne Nutchey, says, “Samantha works hard and deserves this achievement. I hope that other young women see someone like her and recognise that this type of career isn’t just for the boys. Having women on the team is great for culture and bringing new perspectives—I hope that interest in this type of career continues to grow.”
