ABOUT WATER CORPORATION

Water Corporation was created in January 1996, in a restructuring of the water industry in Western Australia.

It is the principal supplier of water, wastewater and drainage services in Western Australia to hundreds of thousands of homes, businesses, and farms, as well as providing bulk water to farms for irrigation.

Water Corporation’s services, projects, and activities span over 2.6 million square kilometers. There are regional offices in Perth, Bunbury, Albany, Karratha, Geraldton, Northam, and Kalgoorlie which allow the employees to provide a high level of professional expertise to customers.

JUST LIKE WATER, THE WORK ARRANGMENTS ARE FLUID AND FLEXIBLE

Water Corporation believes that every role has the ability to ‘flex’ to some degree and our philosophy is just like water – work and personal lives are fluid and critically impact our overall wellbeing.

Welcome Water Corporation – FlexReady Endorsed Employer

“Our employee guidelines for flexible working were launched mid-2020 and I’m very proud to be part of our flexible workplace journey,” Head of People and Capability Daman Patterson said. “Flexible working is good for our people, our business, the environment, households, government, and the community. Our flexible working principles – for everyone, mutually beneficial, right for the team, give and take, and one size does not fit all – set out the standards and values that underpin our flexibility. From there, managers and their teams consider what is possible on the basis of ‘why not?’ to design an arrangement to achieve the best possible outcome.”
