- Font style should be easy to read
- Use dot points for clarity, but just the one type
- Bold for headings is easier to read than underline
- Don’t be afraid to use professional colours, borders or page break lines to help you stand out from the crowd

- Centre contact details at the top of the page. Include name, mobile and email. Nothing else is required or expected.
- No photos
- Make sure your name and phone/email contacts are on each page just in case the pages get separated after being printed out in hard copy
- Only use professional-sounding email addresses

- Sell yourself fast, succinctly and with gusto
